Aleister Crowley wrote a book on Egyptian magic called The Book of Thoth.

Many modern rock bands and celebrities follow the teachings of Aleister Crowley.

He was a black magician and Satanist.

So don't be surprised if elements of Egyptology appear in our popular culture.

They may have evil intentions.

It is just one aspect of black magic.
